We believe that Bellingham is best experienced on a bicycle. We are a biking destination with beautiful parks, trails, water, mountains and history. Our tours are designed to help you safely and effectively learn about our area of the Cascades on the Coast of the Salish Sea. Our tours and guides will give you the best experience you can have on two wheels. Tours range from $250 + depending on size of group and duration of event. 60 - 90 Minute Tours
These tours can be completed on a pedal bike or electric bike. They are intended for beginner to moderate bikers and will cover a distance of 6-10 miles. All 60-90 minute tours come with a guide, pedal or ebike rental, helmets, support and assistance. Individual or Couple Tour – $220. Additional guests may attend at $80 per rider. Minimum age for tour participants is 12 years old. The maximum group size is 8.
South Bay Trail: Starting from our location and ride along the South Bay Trail to Boulevard Park and Fairhaven. From the Village Green, cafes and shoppes, we will ride down to Marine Park. There we will discuss some of the history of Bellingham including information about the local tribes and industry of Bellingham. We can return to our starting location several different routes depending on how long the group would like to continue.
Western Washington University Tour: From our location we will ride along the South Bay Trail along the waterfront to South Bellingham. From Fairhaven, we will head up Sehome Hill to the WWU Campus. We will explore the campus and view the extensive outdoor sculpture collection and can ride to the top of the Sehome Arboretum and tower. From there, we will return to the shop through downtown Bellingham.
Squalicum North Pier: From our location, we will ride north along the waterfront on Roeder Avenue. We will tour the Marina and Zuanich Park, possibly visiting the fisherman village and market on aligning Saturdays. We will continue our ride along Eldridge Avenue to Squalicum Park to tour the newest attraction to Bellingham, the Squalicum Pier with views of Bellingham Bay, the San Juan Islands and Mt. Baker.
Cornwall Park Tour: From our location, we will follow the shoreline north along Roeder Avenue. We will cruise through the Marina and Zuanich Park. From here, we will ride along Squalicum Parkway to Cornwall Park. Cornwall Park is a lush park with bridges, old growth trees, a variety of leisure activities and wildlife.
Whatcom Falls Park: From our location, we will ride along Cornwall Avenue to the Railroad Trail. This former train-track has been transformed into a public trail that connects us to Whatcom Falls Park. Along the trail, we will have an overlook of Bellingham, the San Juan Island and Bellingham Bay. This trail continues to Lake Whatcom and follows the creek through downtown and back to the shop.
2 - 4 Hour Tours
Electric Bikes are recommended for this ride, but pedal bikes are still available. These tours are intended for moderate bikers and will cover a distance of 10-20 miles. 2-4 hour tours come with a guide, pedal or ebike rental, helmets, water, snacks, support and assistance. Individual or Couple Tour – $350. Additional guests may attend at $100 per rider. Minimum age for tour participants is 12 years old. Maximum group size is 8.
Interurban Trail: The Interurban Trail starts in Fairhaven and follows the water south to Larabee State Park. We will take a quick tour of the park before continuing to Clayton Beach trailhead which is a short hike to the beach. We will have snacks and drinks and rest while taking in views of the San Juan Islands and Madrona Trees. We will return on a similar route and can stop in Fairhaven upon return if time allows.
Bellingham Scavenger Hunt: Photo opportunities galore as we hit the trails for pictures at various points along the ride. This is a full-Bellingham tour that will take us to many different locations with the goal of hitting all 10 picture locations. These locations include iconic scenes, monuments, and lookouts. For a full-list of locations, sign-up for the tour and we can customize or add additional locations by request.
Lake Padden Loop: Starting from our location, we will ride up to Lake Padden and around the 2.7 trail that circles the lake. Our trip will include several different trails along the waterfront and through Fairhaven as we turn East onto the Interurban Trail. This will connect us to the Padden Creek Trail which leads to the lake. Riders are welcome and encouraged to pack a towel and their swim trunks for this adventure. A quick swim in the lake is the best way to cool down after a loop around the lake. Snacks and water provided.
Parks & Trails Tour: The Parks and Trails Tour features several different trail connectors that link some of Bellingham’s most beautiful parks together. In this tour, we will visit Marine Park, Boulevard Park, Zuanich Park, Squalicum Park, Cornwall Park and Whatcom Falls as we tour along the waterfront from the southside to the north of Bellingham and into the city. This tour highlights the extensive bike lanes and park connector trails that make Bellingham one of the best places in the whole world to experience on a bicycle. Snacks and water provided.
Brewery Tour: Bellingham is known for its beautiful scenery, bike culture and breweries. On this tour, choose 4 – 14 of your desired establishments so we can have a pint, a coffee or refreshments. We will create a customized tour that leads you safely between locations that feature award winning craft beers, ciders and drinks. (Non-Alcoholic drinks provided with tour fee, alcohol is not. Limit one 8oz drink per stop. If riders appear to be intoxicated, they are not permitted to continue the tour.)

Lummi Island Tour: This tour meets on the mainland side of the Lummi Island Ferry. We will walk our bikes onto the ferry and start our island tour from the dock. Lummi Island is the perfect size for a half-day tour with loads of beaches, farms, trails and viewpoints. The island allows for an easy route that circles a 12 mile loop along the coast with stops along the way for beach access and sightseeing. Our journey always ends at the Beach Store Cafe for a coffee or meal while we wait for the ferry back to the mainland. Snacks and water provided.
5 - 6 Hour Tours
Electric Bikes are recommended for this ride, but pedal bikes are still available. These tours are intended for moderate bikers and will cover a distance of 12-30+ miles. 6-8 hour tours come with a guide, pedal or ebike rental, helmets, water, snacks, support and assistance. Individual or Couple Tour – $600. Additional guests may attend at $150 per rider. Minimum age for tour participants is 12 years old. Maximum group size is 8. This includes entree and dessert or drink for each participant plus snacks and water.
Interurban Bike and Hike: The Interurban Hike and Bike excursion starts from our shop location and follows the South Bay and Interurban Trail to Clayton Beach and Larabee State Park. We will hike and explore both of these locations and have a picnic on the water. We will pack up and ride a short distance to the trailhead of Fragrance Lake. This hiking trail is 2.2 miles to the lake. Upon arrival, we will have a snack and the option for a swim around the lake. There is an option to ride bikes closer to the lake and bypass a significant portion of the trail.
Extended Parks and Trails Tour: The extended Parks and Trails Tour features many of the trail connectors that link some of Bellingham’s most beautiful parks together. In this tour, we will visit Marine Park, Boulevard Park, Zuanich Park, Squalicum Park, Cornwall Park, Big Rock Garden, Bloedel Donovan, Whatcom Falls and Lake Padden as we tour all the trails and parks that Bellingham is known for. This tour highlights the extensive bike lanes and park connector trails that make Bellingham one of the best places in the whole world to experience on a bicycle. We will stop at a restaurant or brewery of choice along the way.

For this once and lifetime excursion, we will meet at the Anacortis Ferry and set sail for the San Juan Islands on bicycle. Cruising and biking through the San Juans is one of the pinnacles of vacation and an authentic Northwest experience. We can easily hop on and off the ferries to explore a new island each day. These tours are totally customized and feature hikes, trails and locations that are best enjoyed on two wheels with your local guide.
